Hello and welcome!
Hello WRITERS – Do you want to write for fun AND make money? There are lots of ways to do both.
SHORT STORIES
Deadlines for Writers
As a lover of fiction, I belong to Deadlines for Writers, a group of writers who create 12 short stories (or poems over the course of a year, or a screenplay in 52 weeks). For the short story challenge, our ideas are generated based on monthly prompts, with specified word count and deadline. Prompts are decided by host Mia Botha, of South Africa. She is a talented writer herself, generously providing an online playground for writers across the globe.
At Deadlines for Writers, work and entertainment are rolled into one, and it’s wonderful to see what our peers create. There is feedback and encouragement from fellow authors on this site and I highly recommend to writers. Join today at deadlinesforwriters.com
Bonus:
Many of us have submitted these short stories and have been published in literary journals and magazines.
