Mother says to be strong – for a girl or a boy
She says to breathe kindness as husband and wife
There’s so much at stake – we don’t know what we’re doing
We’re adding a person without knowing the rules
Mom says get enough rest while this baby is brewing
She says we’re equipped with all of the tools
Mother says:
New eyes to see the world – please show them the beauty
New ears to hear sounds – please lend them the music
Embrace the new addition – they are more than a duty
